Labara Gallery welcomes you. Read about Labara Gallery below

Our intention is not to earn, but create art with great joy and imagination. We create our art so you can both be marvel and experience how we combine colors and motifs. We want to arouse your curiosity and imagination. Our art is not subject to one particular genre. We create images from what our feeling at the moment and the image evolves as we work with it. All our images are original there are no copies of the same painting.

Labara Gallery does not have exhibit in a gallery. We use the internet for showing some of our work. You can see a selection of the art in the menu Gallery.

In our work we are using different material. We use canvas, cardboard and other items. Mainly we use acrylic, oil, ink and pencil. The material used for making the sculpture is plaster, cardboard or wood.

You can contact us directly by the contact menu.

Scandinavian art, architecture and design

Scandinavia is located in northern Europe and includes Denmark, Sweden and Norway and sometimes Greenland, Finland and Iceland. Scandinavia is comprised of first world countries, which are, according to survey, among the happiest people on earth.

Long on the periphery of Europe, Scandinavian culture developed rapidly in the late-nineteenth century and went on to international prominence in the twentieth century.

Scandinavian art, architecture and design became famous all over the world in the 20th century. Minimalism is a common theme. From architecture, furniture, advertising, to graphic design, canvas art, they certainly know how to wow. Yes, Scandinavian design is known for its minimalism and simplicity. They believe that it doesn’t take a lot of elements to create beauty. Their design aesthetic is more functional and goal-oriented than decorative and fussy.

Labara Gallery shows mainly modern expressionistic art, both abstract and more figurative. Paintings, graphics and sculptures are represented.

But this does not mean that Scandinavian designs look professional and minimalist, or it can get boring. They know how to have fun with color and elements too! Labara Gallery designs are colorful and playful, but still very distinctly ‘Scandinavian’. In a few words, Scandinavian graphic design is chic, bold and modern. They keep their heritage intact, and at the same time they do not ‘try too hard’ to keep up with other countries.

Labara Gallery is an online art gallery

Labara Gallery is an online art gallery only with original art done by the painters Lars Bagge Møller and Anders Bagge Rasmussen. We look at our self as modern artists and we do our artwork and painting in a minimalist art way but still we do painting with a twist. We use materials like canvas, paper, carton and more. Our sculpture is made of wood, carton and plaster.

When you are looking for interior design ideas remember to look for paintings. It could be abstract art in a Scandinavian design. Art work like acrylic paint or oil painting? You can consider a sculpture for your home design ideas.
